Undertaking a Strategic Business Review for a Leading Service Provider in the Satellite Industry
A leading satellite communications service provider sought to validate its assumptions and review its Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy amidst significant industry transformation driven by Non-Geostationary Satellite Operators (NGSO) and technological advancements. Steve Tunnicliffe conducted a strategic business review spanning operations in the US and Europe. The review involved stakeholder mapping and engagement, corporate governance review, change management, communication strategies, revenue review, and performance management. Steve's insights enabled the provider to identify where to invest and align resources, and pinpointed weaknesses in corporate governance that required change.
The client refocused their GTM strategy on Defence and Government sectors, which accounted for a significant portion of its business and profits. Additionally, a new charter was established to clearly define the roles and responsibilities of the Board and the Executive Management Team.
